Quotes & Estimates

Create quotes for your clients with detailed line items and service breakdowns. When a quote is accepted, convert it directly into a transaction.

Creating a Quote

  1. Navigate to Quotes in the sidebar
  2. Click New Quote
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Party — The client receiving the quote
    • Date — Quote date
    • Valid Until — Expiration date
    • Note — Terms or additional information
  4. Add line items (products) and/or service items (time-based charges)
  5. Click Save

Line Items and Service Items

Line Items

  • Select from your product catalog or enter custom items
  • Set quantity, unit price, tax rate, and discount per item

Service Items

  • Describe the service being provided
  • Set hours/quantity, rate, tax rate, and discount

Converting to a Transaction

When a client accepts a quote:

  1. Open the quote detail page
  2. Click Convert to Transaction
  3. The quote’s line items, service items, party, tax rates, and discounts are carried over
  4. Review and save the new transaction

Printing and Sharing

  • Print — Generate a printable quote document
  • Email — Send quotes directly to clients (Pro plan)

Quotes use the same document branding as invoices — accent color, logo, footer text, and payment instructions.
